I am begging you to try and run at that pace. Please do it!

Just anyone who doubts that it is tough.

senior citizens finish marathons all the time.

i doubt they can finish a 12 round fight.

I joined a 30+ soccer League this year and I feel like I'm Messi.

I've never even done a half-marathon. I've never gone 12 rounds in the ring, not even close.

But, one thing is for sure, I hate running. But, I also don't like getting hit in the face, hmm. I'd rather not do both

I'll tell you what, if you can run a mile, just one mile at 4 mins 40

or 6 miles at 30 mins and put it on video to prove it

I will spar this guy for 12.

He is a friend of mine that I met through my job.

He obviously isn't World quality, and is sort of British level, or below, but he is a pro.

I will film myself getting bust up by him no problem. But you do what I ask, and this aint even a marathon at that pace, but simply a mile or 6 miles at 30 mins which is a bit harder.

              sparring is harder, no question.

i'm a perpetual marathoner - and i've gone 8 rounds on many occasions and there isn't any comparison. i mean, in the 18-20th mile you can hit that wall during a marathon, but getting hit perpetually throughout 36 minutes is quite a different feat.

Posted a thread with this a month or so ago it doesn't have marathons on there but it does have distance running you can see how far apart boxing and distance running are ranked. Its a pretty big difference

You have any idea how extremely difficult that is? There isn't a single member of Boxingscene that can run that fast for a single mile, let alone 26.2.
True. I'm by no means saying marathons are easy. Hell, I'd probably die if I tried one, but boxing's the overall more taxing sport.

Wanna know why this marathon crap and hitting the wall is BS?

A runner can slow down at mile 18 if he wants. A fighter can't slow down in round 10
