Why? Froch is certainly qualified for a big homecoming.

No question about it.

But this fight is not a homecoming fight - it's too massive a fight. If he beats Groves, he can have a home fight against a Yusuf Mack type fighter.

I was there for a Gaga concert with my daughters 2 years ago and I swear it was rammed,the whole pitch was allotted as standing,the capacity was 55k,I suppose I didn't take into account they closed off like a segment/portion of the stand where the stage was set up.my bad.

Not a conclusion per say just an opinion, in fairness to Froch he's not usually fussed where he fights, he is a warrior.

So why is he so vocal about it for this fight? It's the first time in his pro career he's been so hurt and has a domestic crowd not necessarily on his side. It's no coincidence.

It indicates wanting creature comforts and knowing he needs all the advantages he can.

This is a huge PPV, huge venue, huge money fight. Jeopardising capitalising is odd at best.

I don't see Froch being more vocal in this fight, than in other fights, he's always been loud mouthed.

It was a matter of Froch mental state being at the wrong spot at the wrong time. He showed tremendous heart not quitting and pulled the fight his way towards the end. Froch knows he can take Georgieboy's punches, it's a dangerous fight no doubt, because Froch will get hit a lot, again. But I think it will play out on more even terms from the start this time around.

And about wanting to fight in his hometown, as the current IBF and WBA champion there's no wrong in wanting that. I do think though, that bigger arenas could be filled, but I don't see how it questions his will to fight.
