I'm a self professed Matthysse through and through but I give Danny Garcia all the credit in the world for beating Lucas. The boy made me a believer and I can't fault Danny.

This was a truly great fight. Danny absolutely proved his mantle while Lucas just came up short.

Neither's career should suffer for it. If Lucas can get another run going on, he should be the kind of 140 as I don't think Danny will remain in the division for too long. Looks to have outgrown it.

Danny fought a hell of a fight and most definitely deserved the W, but don't forget that was a HELL of a close fight!

Shutting that eye was huge for swift and it swung things in his favor, but looking at the fight you see how incompetent Lucas' corner were in dealing with the swelling! Now that's on Matthysse that he had a bad Cutman, you need to be prepared...

But it's laughable that people are looking back on the fight with rose tinted glasses and saying that Danny beat the breaks of Lucas! It was a great, close fight!

The Calzaghe mirror match is nice but a GIF of Sven Ottke KOing Mundine would be icing on the cake. That short little shot and the way it crumbled Choc was hilarious.
