Yeah, Bob Arum is the one who won him two gold medals and Bob Arum will be the one who puts in the work and steps in the ring if he happens to beat Salido.

don't know about Loma, never watched him fight
guessing it's just the amateur pedigree catching people's eyes
easy to pick a guy like that over a tough guy journeyman
picking Salido, but uneducatedly guessing that
if he gets beat by a rookie, he shouldn't have a title anyway

I see Loma boxing Salido like Garcia did and I hope Salido doesn't come in rushing like he does without jabbing or he's gonna eat a lot of uppers. On the other hand Loma has never been cut, bruised or headbutted. We'll see how he handles adversity. Intriguing fight for sure.

There's talent, but what I saw in his first fight does not suggest he will beat Salido. It would be a crazy, crazy win if he pulls it off.

I just dunno in this fight - Siri's a very tough veteran, proven at the top level, Loma's one of the most unique talents ever to come out of the amateur scene - I'm leaning towards Loma but as much as anything it's cos other people are saying so (I've watched him plenty but don't know how much difference the am/pro transition will make)- I genuinely don't have the information to call this one...parta what makes it so interesting of course. Can't f'kkin wait.

Lomachenko seems to have superior skill and speed, but who knows how he'll react when a hard man like Salido keeps coming at him past distances he's never fought.
6-1?! That's insane. Salido might make a lot of people cry.

Good luck. Lomo may win this; but those odds are extremely tempting.

Whats the name of the Olympic gold medalist who, back in the 50s-60s, went for the title in his first fight and got ****ing brutalized?

Accomplishments in the unprofessional ranks mean **** all. This may be a winnable fight, but they still shouldnt have rushed him into it.
