To me Khan vs Maidana was a great example of skill beating will. Maidana almost had Khan out, but Amir's movement and skillset got him through those last few rounds.

Peterson vs Khan would be a will beating skill fight. Peterson is definitely more skilled as an inside fighter but he was also arguably more determined to carry out his fight game than Khan.

Come to think of it, even though it was a draw the Peterson-Ortiz fight is a good example of skill vs will. Ortiz had the skill to get him the decision (and one he arguably earned) but Peterson's will kept him in the fight and got him the draw in the end.
