This PPV star **** is getting annoying. It needs to end with Mayweather.
I agree. I'm going to be hard pressed to buy a boxing PPV after Mayweather and Pacman retire. These new guys don't have the attraction and luster that Floyd and Manny have.

What's exactly the "attraction and luster" Mayweather has? Avoiding to engage? Ducking blows all the time? Running around the ring most of the time, to avoid getting hit? Clinching, hugging and elbowing every time the opponent tries to hit him? THE ONLY REASON many people, idiotically IMO, pay PPV to see him is 1) because he is American and most PPV viewers are Americans rooting for an American, specially if he is the arguably "best P4P fighter" and 2) because many people want to see him lose "for the first time" --oficially because we all know he lost to Castillo, and many think he lost to De la Hoya as well--, I mean they want to be witnesses to history in the making.

Pacquiao is exactly the opposite --or at least he was in his prime, but he still has a little bit of that today-- a guy who is all entertainment, a natural aggressor, a guy who is there to trade blows like a man, not somebody avoiding to get touched all the fight, a guy who sacrifices defense to go on the offense almost like a relentless machine. A guy who throws blows in any awkward angle, and can knock down anybody at any time. That is PPV worth in anybody's book.

They both have unusual speed and ring intelligence, but the cowardly --utterly cowardly- and tricky way Mayweather uses his abilities, versus the brave and entertaining way Pacquiao uses his, make a huge difference, and I'm sure that if the roles were reversed and Pacquiao was the American one and fFoyd was from whatever other country, Manny would be getting way more PPV money than Mayweather, he would easily be the PPV king today.

Sterilizer you're probably going to get a lot of hate from all the Floyd huggers, but i completely agree man. I think the DLH fight was a draw and could have gone either way and Castillo won the first one. Pac is by far more entertaining and I get so much more enjoyment as a boxing fan watching him instead of Floyd. Floyd is damn talented but he's way too careful to be entertaining. He gets his wins and his money, and thats all he cares about, but it's boring fights.

Boxing is about "hit and not get hit" , not "hit and get hit" .

A cowardly way to use one's abilities is committing fouls, not dodging punches.

Most boxers, including Pacman, will duck under a hook rather than get hit in the face. is it being a coward now?

Dude get over it, Canelo and Lara will eventually meet, just not now. Right now Canelo is looking at building his Stardom on PPV and he needs eyeballs on him to do it. Canelo trying to get paid, no different that what Lara is trying to do by calling Canelo out.

No it doesn't. Chavez is still a draw. He just needs a credible win... If he goes on to fight Froch and beats him... He's back to being "el dinero de vaca"...
