Broner doesn't suck. Over hyped? Definitely... But he doesn't suck. Karass is garbage. All he has is work rate. He's more of a punching bag than Rios. I'll give you other welters that can beat Broner. But Karass isn't one of them.

He wouldn't be favored against Broner, he'd be there to serve his purpose as a gatekeeper. Beating Soto-Karass would show Broner can really fight at the weight moreso than decisioning Paulie Malignaggi and getting your ass beat by Maidana for the better part of 12 rounds.

Agreed. I think this is the perfect comeback fight and a win puts him right back in the mix at 147. And since people are picking Soto Karrass to win I expect them to give Broner props if he pulls it off.

I think Broner could maybe pull that one off but it could be very similar to Berto vs Soto and that's what Broner needs to try and avoid at all cost, stay off the ropes and actually be active.
