Shawn Porter vs. Marcos Maidana

Who is the better fighter and who would win?

As you all know Floyd picked Maidana as his next opponent I am a bit disappointed like a lot of you, I just wished he picked Khan. Anyhow Maidana got a lot of buzz because he beat Adrien Broner... Again as you all know when he moved up to welterweight and fought Paulie we all saw that he wasn't all that good as he "suppose" to be. In my opinion a lot WW are just as good as Maidana and Broner like Shawn Porter and Devon Alexander.

Since Maidana is the WBA Welterweight champion and Shawn Porter is also a Welterweight champion. Who do you think is a better fighter? Who do you think would do better against Floyd?

I understand Maidana is the bigger draw but I'm not sure if he is better than Shawn Porter. What do you guys think?

Be a close fight but I think Maidana catches porter with something hard and wins. If that doesnt happen I see Porter stamina being the key to him winning in this fight.

Porter wins a comfortable UD imo.

Porter's very underrated, can't see many beating him. Very good all-round fighter, got a bit of everything.

Alexander beat Maidana by stinking out the joint. I don't think Porter would do that, he'd actually fight, and I think that would cost him. I have to go with Maidana because I think he can hurt Porter, and even if he can't I think he's busy enough to outland Porter in total punches and win a decision. And I don't think Porter can hurt Maidana.

You make a real good point here. I don't think Porter would try to box Maidana like Devon did. He probably tries to trade with him and that would most likely be his down fall.
