    Alexander Povetkin vs. Kubrat Pulev

Alexander Povetkin's promoter Ryabinskiy responds to a Russian website that reported Povetkin will be fighting Dereck Chisora. He says Chisora will likely NOT be the next opponent for Povetkin, but that Kubrat Pulev is more likely.

I hope it happens. Pulev-Povetkin is a very good heavyweight match up.

'Bout the Highest level HW match that can be made without a Klitschko involved - actually could be a fairly interesting fight...we get to see what Sasha could do when he ain't facing a giant Huggy bear, and how Kubrat copes with a smaller faster brawler.

Should be interesting. There are some intriguing matchups at HW, Wlad is just just so far ahead of anyone else that none of them include him.

This a great heavyweight match-up, regardless of what some American posters may say.

It's a tough call, but i'd fancy Alexander by decision.

Povetkin can win this fight. Everyone is sleeping on him just because he lost to Klitschko

Hmm. Good one, haven't even thought about this match-up for some reason. This one is fairly even. Povetkin is a good enough fighter but i've never really rated him and after his loss to Wlad, although it was to Wlad of all people, he has gone down in my estimation a bit more. Pulev is a guy many say that Wlad and top contenders are ducking, so this would see if Pulev is the real deal or as to cementing Alex as the number 2 behind Wlad. I have a feeling, because even Huck almost/should have beaten Povetkin, Pulev is the hungrier fighter at this point, the naturally bigger man...I just think Pulev takes this one.

Yes. It's a close, competitive match up between top five heavyweights.

Great heavyweight matchup and would prove whether or not pulev is a legit contender.. Dangerous comeback for Povetkin as well.. Winner will be in line for a title shot, and loser drops back down the ladder
