I had the $200 seats for Cotto Margarito and they were amazing. I had floor seats for Cotto-Clottey and I much preferred the 1st level seats I had for the Margarito fight.

Due to the angle, correct? You see over the ropes diagonally and it gives you a better view of the fight.

I had this happen to me as well... I had floor seats and I had some tall guy sitting in front of me so I would have to slide a bit to the side, there's no elevation like there is for the 100 level seats. The view feels limited.

But from my experience the closet seats arent always the best. The ring post and ref get in the way too often. I prefer to be a little higher up, looking down.

Has anyone been to MSG before, and knows what the seating is like? Good veiws even at the back?

The view in the MGM was great even in the cheap seats.
I've gotten the $300 and $200 seats before for the Margarito and Trout and they were both great seats...way better than the ringside tickets..I like looking down at the fight not straight ahead..like someone else said, with floor seats the refs gets in the way a lot.

Intriguing fight. Even better for the fights that could follow it.

Floor seats are overrated IMO. Ropes, camera guy, ref and angle are not your friends. I've been to at least over 20 local, HBO, showtime and PPV fights and i can honestly tell you for an event like this, you focus on being centered to the ring and at a high enough level to see the ring. At the garden, The upper deck centered to the ring were awesome seats for the Cotto-margarito 2 rematch. This means the $200-$300 might be the best bet. $500 will probably be in that ringside area or the lower section. May not be bad but you want to stay centered.

Also, when purchasing tickets, the representative is going to tell you what the best avaiable are but dont confuse that with the best view. This is my take and experience over the years.

Also, if you are planning on and wanting to chant with the crowd, then seats from $300 down are your best bet.
