mosley was never that exciting, and vargas' past few fights were as exciting as eating a whole box of razor-coated laxatives.

i will miss this fight on purpose cuz i know if i see it, my expectations will not be met or even approached.

this will be a very boring fight. mark my words.

Mosley was never that exciting? Apparently you have not been watching Sugar that long.

His fights pre-Oscar...Shane was as exciting a fighter as there was in the sport and post Oscar his fights with Diaz, Taylor and Stone were all Super Exctiting. (especially the KO's over Taylor and Stone)

Sure he has been dull over the past few years but your statement about him never be exciting is simply put WRONG.

Vargas is gonna press and Mosley is gonna fireback...when all is said and done at the end of 2006 we will look back at Vargas vs. Mosely as a one helluva a surpise...this is gonna be a great fight-I feel it in my ****.

Does anyone else think this fight is gonna be "sneaky great fight?"
I had exactly the same feeling but it was a tingle that made me giggle around my huevos.....

Just pointing out that it is quite obvious you have never seen Sugar Shane pre-Oscar therefore your earlier statement has a validity rate of 0.

            Am I wrong?

                EVIL SAINT,

Many true boxing fans know that Shane is on the list for the best and most exciting lightweights of all time. Shane at lightweight was a superfast, hard-hitting action fighter...who took a few.

I agree with ya' scap. I think both fighters, now being past their primes, are ready to go to war. I don't believe it will be an Ali/Frazier III type of war but I think they'll both leave it all out of there. "Seldomly Sugar" Shane Mosley has been declining to the point where he can't rely on his speed and flurries for every round. Vargas' non-roided self lacks the power he once had as well as he is still undisciplined enough to break from just throwing his jab to make it a hell of a fight..... or so I hope.
