Doubt this goes to the City ground after all the talk Hearn has been doing about it.

City Ground will get 35,000 in for a boxing match, that's enough.
This fight wouldn't do 50,000, if you think it would you are crazy
Haye vs Chisora was a bigger fight amongst casuals and that didn't even sell out west ham.Comment

Aye, you have a point. IMO, the max number this fight draws is 50k - and that's pushing it.
If they're desperate to hold the fight at a stadium, it should be at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. As far as i'm aware, it's the only outdoor venue in the UK with a retractable roof.Comment

I think it can hold 50,000 I think the demand for this fight is huge and fans from all over the country will be streaming in to watch it live, after the first fight which, before the stoppage, was FOTY candidate.Comment

If the first one sold 20k in less than an hour, then the second one can sell 50k in 3 months no question about it.
Hearn already said there'd be a lot of £30 tickets on sale, say 10k or so.
Also, I believe Chisora-Haye sold 35k in a couple of days and it did more or less sell out.
I think it could do more than 50k if they do it right, the question is, do they want to? Because having it a huge stadium like Old Trafford - it could be result in a silent atmosphere if they don't sell it out.Aye, you have a point. I think it is as well - but it wouldn't be a good idea commercially to have such a big fight in Cardiff. It needs to be london or Manchester.Comment

The danger, then, is the weather. If they go for a English football stadium it could be a washout. I think 50k is achievable; any more would be a push, particularly with conflicting sporting events. London or Manchester make business sense, particularly the latter for numbers as northerners have nothing else to look forward to.If the first one sold 20k in less than an hour, then the second one can sell 50k in 3 months no question about it.

Cardiff is the safe bet.
Haye-Chisora sold c.25k tickets in the first two weeks. Did it even sell out?Comment

True - but they could do what Chisora/Haye did or what Haye/Klitschko did and build a ring with a roof on. Shouldn't be too hard. The danger, then, is the weather. I'm confident it could do 50k rather easily, especially with 10-15k £30 tickets.
Problems with Cardiff are far greater than weather. The infrastructure to Cardiff is horrible compared to London/Manchester.
Haye-Chisora did 35k all in all and I'm pretty sure that it was a sell-out more or less.Comment
