Great determination, hard hitting, has heart, but doesn't take a good punch and has sub-par defense.

Absolutely love him WHEN he is under Ann Wolfe's guidance. Kirkland is the definition of a warrior. Seriously, it is scary to watch. Kirkland looks like he just came out from the depths of hell into the human realm just for the length of the fight. Ann Wolfe makes him fight possessed.

Very entertaining to watch, comes and gives it all he has and at the end of the day that is the best someone can do, and for that I respect him.

Carlos Molina systematically broke him down showed how average he is. Ofcourse Molina is "boring" so it doesnt even count.

Ann Wolfe is good for Kirkland but is she the sole purpose behind his relevance in boxing? Not sure about that. That story might be getting too much hype.
