Shafikov had nothing for Vazquez. Great title defense.

I would like to see Vazquez-Crawford next. Although it would not be the most casual fan-friendly fight

That referee was like lord what did I get myself into. It was ugly but Vazquez nullified him so bad I was surprised. I thought he'd win but Shafikov couldn't set himself for anything most of the time. That's why he wasn't throwing much. You don't throw at no target. But when he did get into position and go Vazquez took almost everything off it. Ugly but impressive ability he's got. Vazquez's talent is underrated. I remember when he was treated like a halfazz journeyman when he gave Prescott a lesson.

Nothing on Vasquez, but I went to the store to get something to eat around round 5.

It was every bit as bad as Wlad vs Povetkin. Watch the fight again. Vazquez clinched everytime Shafikov got close to him.

Vasquez schooled him with his mayweather esque style. No wonder Broner lowballed him so bad to avoid him.
