Totally agree. People keep saying that Cotto is the best fighter Martinez has faced. What they neglect is that Martinez is facing a middleweight version of Cotto. Cotto's best was far below middleweight. The middleweight version of Cotto won't be as effective as guys like Pavlik and Williams.
