Sounds good that he says that Canelo is taking El Perro seriously, but I question the wisdom of prepping for a tough fight "in the comfort of his home".

Will he really put down the beer and the Xbox controller to go work out?

If he's not sharp he could get steamrolled, imo.

But if this is a con job, and Angulo is looking to take a dive, it would hurt all of us.
This dude(A.A)is rough & rugged action star. A Telemundo windup fighter with power.
Again, I hope he doesn't act like Clottey, and take a dive(against Cotto, & MP).
Otherwise all things being equal, this fight is man vs boy. Men always win these type of bouts(Miadana vs AB).
BTW did El-chino take a dive???
Angulo and those Clottey fights were not dives.

IMO this will be a test to see how tough Canelo is. Great fight!

Canelo is not about that life. Angulo is going to take him to war and is going to make Canelo quit on his stool.

That's a pretty good observation! It's true I find it weird that he's training at home

While i think canelo can certainly win, it wouldn't surprise me if angulo hurt or maybe even stops canelo. We haven't seen alvarez in the ring with an animal like angulo. He's tough as nails and this will be a very telling fight for canelo's future.

I don't expect Angulo to give the youngen too many problems.

does this mean he's gonna train for stamina then?
he's got this as long as he doesn't get tired
he can get away with fighting in spots against a guy slower than him
but he better be able to sustain it all the way through 12

Angulo is not going to let Canelo fight carefully he is going to have to fight and mix it up a bit. Canelo doesn't have the overall boxing skills to just be defensive from a distance and keep Angulo at bay.

Not sure how you came up with that theory Flatfooted, slow and one dimensional Angulo will get stopped by within 6 rounds. He is nothing but a comeback tune up fight for Canelo, otherwise he would not be Canelo's opponent fresh off a loss.
