Career highest payday, asked for more money and they gave it to him yet he still turned it down, he was scared of getting knocked out.
Naw, can't be. If anything Rios' career path took a positive turn thanks to Gamboa. Bumbum should be thankful. lol.

Vazquez vs. Gamboa would be a great fight for the undercard of Marquez vs. Alvarado! Top Rank should tell Vazquez and Gamboa that the winner gets Garcia.

I'm leaning towards a U.D. for Vazquez because of the height advantage, and because Vazquez seems to have a pretty good chin. He's been hit by Canelo and Tim Bradley, who ain't no lightweights. But if Gamboa has enough power I could see him knocking Vazquez down a few times and then cruising to a win.

I'm all for it! if it were only that simple.

How bout Garcia steps up, grows some balls and actually fights Gamboa?

Why did I feel like that, IDK? It seems like he would still be relatively 'fresh' because of he hasn't taken severe beatings... but then when I see him in the ring, like last fight, there were times I felt he was creeping toward being shot. The unbelievable footwork was not there imo, his balance looked off. am i being premature here
there were many mixed feelings in that Jimenez fight. I think it stems from what has been expected from Gamboa when in his earlier days combined with let's be honest, a boring ass fight!

Unfortunately Gamboa doesn't have the luxury Mikey has. A shit fight vs Burgos but gets decent acclaim from the network and another shot. Oh and is a very strong A side lol.
