this really is ****ing hilarious. in an era of the best not fighting the best, when a guy comes along who wants to fight the best & makes no bones about it, some have the nerve to start saying 'haha he desperate, he broke'. what an absolute joke some of you are. but i know EXACTLY the type who are calling kovalev these names. and you all know too. it's no mystery.

Black A level boxer can't be beaten by white fighters unless it's rigged or he faces another black A level boxer.

        That's simply boxing axiom.

Don't be silly. What do you expect from an ex-pimp?

No one is scared of Kovalev. So you speak for everyone now do you? He's got a ridiculously high KO %. For potential or actual opponents not to respect and be fearful of the power - would be damn right foolish.
Given that Dawson got $850K and Cloud $650K (and I doubt Murat got enought to pay for his flight home) for fighting BHop, one has to wonder what dreams Stevenson has been sold. Where exactly does he think he's gonna get another multi-million fight?

It's a great build up though, let's see how Kovalev replies...the whole thing smacks of theatre, but 'I'll fight you if you're worth the money' ain't one to get the fans onside. Does Kovalev have to tell Stevensons missus that she needs a real man?
