Chavez has a much more impressive list of opponents,, yes he had 60 cab drivers but also about 40 legit ranked guys and about a dozen prime champions....

all the champions Chavez beat were not in their prime. It's nice to have an impressive list of opponents but he lost to the best ones...Whitaker schooled him, Mayweather at the same age was not gonna lose to Frankie Randall, he was past prime for kostya and odlh....I won't go into the Taylor controversy

Mayweather has like 60 less fights and beat more champions and people complain about his opponent selection though
Chavez best wins are Taylor, Rosario, Mayweather, Camacho, and Jose Luis Ramirez

Mayweathers are Canelo, corrales, Castillo, dlh, Mosley....their best wins or close but money has more overall depth career quality wise
