As far as I know, he plans to have at least one more fight. It's not fully decided yet, but that's the state of mind he's in.

His promoter Kalle Sauerland was on Danish TV last weekend, and he said we should hear some news about Kessler's future soon. It will most likely be another fight, but Abraham is not on the cards as far as I understand.

I heard he is to decide on his future really soon. I feel as though he will fight again at least a couple of times, but as of now I'm not sure. I read somewhere that he wanted to retire once he had kids and he recently had one (I think...) so if that is anything to go by he may not be around for much longer.

Shame really coz he is a good fighter and I have a lot of support for him, but as far as latest news I am not sure. Other than that new beard he is/was rocking lately!

One more fight,it's gotta be a decent send off right, which is the biggest stadia in Denmark,it's capacity ? Where would most likely destination,Denmark surely ?

Of course it's all speculation right now,but who would be most likely opponent.im tagging Groves to outpoint Froch and Stieglitz to outpoint Abraham.I should preferably like to see him face either one of those.who else springs to mind, surely Chavez Jr wouldn't travel and if its to be Mikkel's final fight,it's gotta be in his homeland, bringing down the curtain on one of the finest super middles to grace the sport ever.commence the haters to come out now,ha.

Would love to see him feature against one of the top three mentioned,it would silence a few critics.who have been quick to write him of as no longer world class.

I hope he retires, but the signs are pointing towards at least one more fight.

But against who? Stieglitz, Abraham, Froch and Groves are busy with fights. So at SMW I guess its between Ward and Bika and both ate rumoured to have priced themselves out of a fight.

I know there have also been talks of him going down to 160, but again there's not much available.

He's in the Yodeling Finals right now, he'll be back and better than ever.

Biggest venue in Denmark is Parken, Copenhagen. There's also 'Boxen' arena in Herning, holds nearly 15 000 people. Not sure how much capacity Parken usually has for boxing. Kessler fought Froch in Herning in 2010 in their first fight.

Herning is so out of the way but you crazy Danes go there anyways.

                Nice arena, I thought

I think he should retire as well. Or fight a bum then retire.

He's done all he can and was champ.

Denmark is a small country though so it's easy getting there regardless of where you live.
