"Kicking his ass" was an exaggeration in the mist of a rant homie. I did think Molina deserved the decision. As for Angulo, he was hurting or dropping Lara damn near every time he touched him. And that was a freak thing that happen to his eye. Every similar to what happen to Rahman, against Holyfield I agree. I don't think Lara "made him quit." Most fighters wouldn't continue with an extra head growing out of their eye.

Absolutely. If Lara wants to open another door of opportunity in hopes of a GGG fight and break into 160, that's a good way to go about it. Maybe Lara is sticking around 154 trying to win the lottery vs you know who. Canelo eventually will move to 160 as well.Lara should call out Quillin. That fight in NYC would sell well.
He's not getting his shot at Alvarez until at least 2015. Until then he can fight Quillin and rematch Molina while Alvarez fights Angulo and the Martinez/Cotto winner.
Early 2015 is when I could see the fight happening.Comment

I think a move to 160 would open up more doors for him. He can beat Quillin then have the option to move back down to 54 for a rematch with Molina, can fight GGG at 60, Cotto might be an option and of course Canelo will always be an option in 2015.
The important thing for him is to keep busy, and stay relevant.Comment

I think it was a draw at worst between Lara and Molina but I hate that hugging, Clinching style. Perro hurt him 2x but Lara got up each time and went right back to work. Lara was hurting Angulo too. And hommie quit, no way around that one. Even if it's understandable."Kicking his ass" was an exaggeration in the mist of a rant homie. I did think Molina deserved the decision. So Lara fighting two straight guys coming of a loss needed to happen? The double standards are hilarious. One guys gets crucified for fighting back to back undefeated fighters and decides to take on a puncher after his first loss who gave Lara the hardest fight of his life. Yet Lara is praised and respected for calling out a guy coming off a loss with no belt

LOL. "If he hadn't walked away." He walked away because Lara hit Angulo in the face over and over and over and over until he looked like the elephant man and had to quit because it was too painful.Comment

Today's boxing fans kill me.Originally posted by hitkingToday's boxing fans kill me. Most of ya'll are nothing but d1ck riders and hop on every d1ck of the month. What purpos does Canelo have to duck Lara? Canelo lost to Floyd, the best fighter in the world. Lara got his ass kicked by Molina. He was getting his ass kicked by the guy Canelo's about to fight. There's absolutely no reason for Canelo to be worried about Lara. And I'm by no means a Canelo fan. I think he's a hypejob and I'd be rooting for Lara if they fought. But there's absolutely no reason Canelo to avoid Lara.
