Amir Khan's Twitter Says It Will Be Floyd-Maidana

Interesting side note in all of this...

How bad is Broner going to look when Floyd dominates the guy who dominated him? He won't be too happy about that. Then there's nothing to be gained by fighting Maidana again either. He is the other loser in this scenario, along with Khan of course.

I don't buy the Broner-Khan theory, either. That's a lose-lose fight for Broner. He should try to get a fight with Garcia after the March mismatch.

The right decision was made. If Khan fights & beats good opposition in his next few fights he could possibly get the fight in 2015. But for at this moment, Maidana is the much better opponent.

Yeah I don't know how you can even compare Canelo to Maidana. Maidana has a much higher work rate and is way more agressive. ****** comparison

If the ref let's Mayweather hold Maidana after throwing a punch then yeah it's going to be a boring fight. But if it's officiated fairly, I give Maidana a chance to make the fight interesting

IMO Khan lost out because Floyd wasn't going to fight him unless the Pacquiao fight was soon to follow. The speculation of Manny dropping Arum because of his tax issues, made the Khan fight in May the logical choice if they were able to secure the Pacquiao fight in the fall. The earliest Floyd/Manny can happen now is May 2015, so why would Floyd fight Khan(rangy southpaw) with speed this soon, when he can make the fight later in the year which allows him to adequately prepare for both. Maidana to his credit has garnered enough recognition in the AfricanAmerican community by beating Broner to warrant himself a justifiable opponent now, allowing the latter scenario to play out.

Khan needs to stop *****ing because he understands the game, and maybe try and pick up a strap to make himself a more attractive opponent later in the year.

Instead of Khan crying so hard he should ask Golden Boy to set up him vs Broner on Mayweather's undercard. Broner might be the new Berto, seeing that you fight him and you get a Mayweather fight.
