Sorry but on paper the Canelo fight was one of the biggest if not the riskiest fights in 2013 or even the past 2 years. Remember Floyd is 36 years old he has been doing this for 17 years as a professional. Khan is very good, but lacks major intangibles and patience in and out of the ring. To be honest I don't think it's Floyd holding up the announcement. I believe it's showtime. They know there's a good chance both fights will tank and they're trying to go with the more profitable opponent. Floyds money is guaranteed so he doesn't really care. To me both fights suck but khan will pose more problems for Floyd than maidana for as long as it lasts. Maidana is just too slow to make it competitive. He will get picked apart for 12 rounds.
