Floyds advantage is that he has perfected the style and it comes second nature to him. The shoulder roll is who he is as a fighter where guys like Berto, Thompson, Broner etc. are learning the style and trying to use it like a suit of armor. A warrior is not great because he wears the best armor he is a great warrior because his greatness is enhanced by his armor and they are one, that is Floyd and that's what all these imitators don't understand.

Floyd is great but what he's dong in the ring doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out. for instance if you jab Floyd he`ll block it, if he starts getting hit with a jab he stops trying to block it and starts to step away when you throw it. What happens is then you start reaching and he starts to time you coming in and he simply starts nailing you with the lead rights and occasional left hook as you come in. Once he takes that from a guy the guy starts getting confused on what to do next but that's when Floyd starts leaping in with that left hook or the straight right and he ducks away or wraps you up. Now your in panic mode and their goes the rest of the fight.

This is basic basic stuff as theirs more to it but I'm sure some of you know exactly what I'm talking about because you see it plain as day.

I've always described his style as a "effeminate lance armstrong"

You can praise his style all you want but if you show a video of him to 100 people on the street, all 100 would say he fights unmanly and runs

I admire all boxers but fighters like Floyd, Manny, Andre and Bernard just to name a few are something special...a level above the rest.

I also agree that Floyd has avoided certain challenges and on the real, if he had fought those challenges, I think he would have beaten them.

But then again we can say that about pretty much every fighter at some point in time or another.

Nope, just Floyd. He's the only fighter in the history of the sport that didn't face every active fighter of his era. We don't know how great Michael Jordan was because he never played Mugsy Bogues 1 on 1. We'll never know who would have won. Spudd Webb, Kenny Smith, Dell Curry....all threats to Michael that could have beaten him, but we'll never know.

Mugsy Bogues used to give MJ a ton of trouble on defense.

I disagree....."Ducking" is opinion and not fact. I could say:Ward is ducking Kovalev, GGG is ducking Ward, Porter is ducking Thurman....Do you remember the " Garcia is ducking Mathyses" threads.

We can even take it back 9 years ago, I remember the "Taylor is ducking Pavlik" threads. I get it from some of you guys, Floyd get it the worst because he's "the current face of boxing" and his distractor (or haters) hold him to a certain standard..ok I get it but to say that Floyd fighter to ever duck someone is bull5h!t.
