Do you think Wlad will be remembered as a great boxer?

Since I am prohibited to post in the other thread with the same title, I have decided to post it here.

Of course, he will be remembered as a great boxer in Ukraine. He is also the Olympic HW Champion, which is a great achievement.

If he unifies the HW division and keeps the title for a year or two, he will become a legitimate lineal champion, which means that he will be considered a great.

    if

    if

    if

    if

if any fighter held a title for years fighting good - great opposition...ANY fighter "CAN" become great...

Wlad is far from that...let him worry about his next opponent...

to answer your question...do I think he WILL?

    no

Unlike any fghter, Wlad actually has a good chance to remove the "IF" qualification.

Plus, Wlad is a great in Ukraine, along with Bubka, Blokhin, and other great atheletes.

I already posted in the other thread but screw it. I doubt he will remembered a great in this country. The start of his career was great, he was very close to fighting Lennox. But Sanders ruined his path, then Brewster made it worse. Even if he can reclaim his once good name, there arent any greats to beat. James Toney has not proven to be a great HW no matter what his delusional fans say. He already showed that he CAN beat Brewster, a man whos been outboxed by the likes of Shufford, Eitienne, and Kali Meehan(so long as he isnt exhausted). Rahman-no need to explain. Ruiz, same ****.

After the perfomance against Peters I just cant see that and then he chose to fight Byrd instead of gettying revenge on brewster that should sum it up, but I still think he's a good fighter but vitali is better and more entertaining.

There is a difference between a "great boxer" and a "boxing great".

I already think he's a great boxer and if his career ended now, I would remember him that way. Hard to deny that the man has excellent boxing skills.

Having said that, he has a long way to go for me to remember him as a boxing great.

Even if he dose he shouldnt he has poor boxing skills, is awkward slow and robotic and he would be outboxed by countless journeyman heavyweights of the past . I dont think people realise how weak the division is .

Poor skills, akward slow and robotic? Sounds more like youre talkin about Valuev. The HW division was as weak as when Tyson dominated.
