marquez doesn't think he lost to bradley though... and after all the excuses of why provodnikov isn't a good choice (doesn't bring money, isn't a name, not a legacy defining fight, etc. etc.) he goes and picks the guy that got brutalized by provodnikov lol...

c'mon this is a clear duck....i hope alvarado outboxes marquez...

I'm a lil confused here..I thought Marquez only wanted to fight for a belt, and since Alvarado loss to Prov..He don't have a strap no more..Why is Marquez fighting Mike??

I think JMM wants to stay active and get a sure win while he waits to see who wins Pac v Bradley. If Pac wins, 5 is happening.

True, but if GBP were able to get Garcia vs matthysse in a PPV undercard, I'm sure JMM vs Alvarado can be made also. But I must admit, I didn't think much of it when I posted the comment but I highly doubt jmm would ever fight on the undercard of pac

I believe even some of the very best are crapping their pants at the idea of fighting Provodnikov.

Clown, no there's no source that says JMM was offered more money n PPV for Provo, but common sense tells me that if HBO put Bradley vs JMM on PPV they deft with no hesitation would put Provo vs JMM on PPV also. Cmon dummie, Provo last two fights have been fight of the year candidates, I'm sure Provo vs JMM will do better PPV numbers than Bradley. with Alvarado JMM is fighting a dude who was exposed on his last fight and quit on his stool. No way he's getting paid more to fight the quitter than the monster who made him quit. And Provo has no prob fighting above 140. As a matter of fact after the Bradley fight he said 147 is his new weight class. Only reason he fought Alvarado at 140 it was because he got a shot at the tittle. No doubt in my mind he would've fought JMM at 144

This is a good fight but the problem is, Marquez previous statements and the situation. He claims he won the Bradley fight and then he is fighting the man who got annihilated by man who is calling him.

This is a good fight. Redemption time for Alvarado. No way Crymoanuel wins a firefight against hard slugging Alvarado. He's no Katsidis or Diaz.
