arum is right...chicken floyd is fooling gbp and his fans...boxings fans want chicken floyd to face pacman in the ring but look what he did...he had his fans choose between khan an maidana...is it not idiotic? his fans who participated in that poll are also idiots...

        Rat on a Rat

Schaefer and Bob 'today i'm telling you the truth yesterday I was lying' Arum are both snakes with Arum by far the sharper and more knowledgeable of the game.
Arum quiet often could be mistaken for a politician with his ability to skirt around answers but Schaefer for me would be best off back in banking because it's so easy to see when he his lying .....his lips move!

I agree with Richard,Arum should not talk out of house..It's not professional at all..It also lends it self to this ****** **** in the public..It's not smart..

Between advice tho,Arum clearly gave the better advice..Khan does look like a joke right now, being consider for Mayweather..He'd be an even bigger joke if he lands it..GBP should have match him up in a winnable creditable fight already..If they really want him in there with Mayweather..

Bradley has made a crazy amount of money since dealing with TR/Arum..It was his on fault how he fought Prov not Arum's..Hell Arum did more then his job getting him 2mill to fight Prov(an unknown)in the first place..

I don't think this is good for these promoters to talk about each others fighters like this..IMO tho,TR is a far better promotion company then GBP..That's just me tho,and I do feel they've missed used Khan on more then one occasion..

The ****ing ******est thing is that a Promoters job is to work for the fighter to get the fights THEY want! It's not the fighters that work for promoters!!

There shouldn't be a Top Rank/Golden Boy Cold War, if the fighters voiced there opinions and say a Danny Garcia came out and said he wanted to fight Tim Bradley regardless of promoter we'd eventually see the fights that matter! This isn't a ****ing dictatorship or a communist bloc that there working for, if the fighters had the balls to voice there opinions the fans wouldn't have to listen to the endless Schaefer Arum **** measuring competition they got going!

I kinda hear ya but still it doesnt work this way!!! promoters are boss!!!

they can even make a fighter stay on the shelf for a long time.

In MMA there also is no co-promotion. WSOF challenged Bellator to let the big names from each company fight each other. what would have resulted in sky high ratings or maybe even good PPV numbers. but so far nothing has come from it, the fighter wanted it and even the promotion WSOF wanted it but because promotion Bellator is not interested its a no no.

contracts speak louder than words unfortunately...

So Khan is with GBP, Mayweather works closely with GBP. Khan puts off potential fights in anticipation of a big fight with Mayweather. One would think that he must have gotten some kind of hint from someone to believe he would fight Mayweather next. But instead of Mayweather announcing Khan as his next opponent, he begins a poll to see if the fans want Khan or Maidana to fight him. The fans appear to want Khan, but Mayweather still doesn't announce who his next opponent will be. Now we hear buzz that after all of this, Mayweather may yet decide to fight Maidana! Schaefer has suggested that he doesn't know who Mayweather will choose, but if it's Maidana, Khan will get another fight against someone else. No big deal. Given this turn of events, it does indeed seem like Amir Khan has been jerked around by his own promoter and Mayweather.
