So now Schaefer includes Todd? Floyd have been vocal about Todd and their relationship. I dont understand why Richard needs to talk about that. Specially since his boss, Oscar de la Hoya, said that he wants to do business with TR.

Arum was talking about Floyd. Not the first time RS comes out like his publicist to trash talk TR. Espinoza is doing the same thing all the time. But, fanboys think this is all Bob fault.

here is schaefer responding to arum trashing floyd...and telling another gb fighter he should leave cause hes being "used"....when arum has no clue what hes talking about.......khan is one of gbs more mareketable fighters......if he doesnt get the floyd fight they will have something else for him...its just a matter of them waiting to decide if hes the best choice....its not like they are ignoring khan and have no plans for him if mayweather goes in a different direction.....and thats what arum is implying

Every time we get close to a Manny Pacquiao fight, Floyd surfaces to share his expert advise. Roger stops beating up women long enough to talk about other fighters, who they should be fighting. Floyd Sr lays off the crack long enough to talk the same trash. Schaefer is a bafoon, a real sleezeball who is gravy training off Floyd. If he didn't have Floyd, he'd have nobody. How many months ago did Floyd say he'd announce his next fight in 7 days, and here he is playing head games with the sport, with Khan & Maidana, but who thinks Floyd has ever been a man of character? And he's surrounded with like, scumbags. Amir Khan doesn't deserve the shot with Floyd, yet, don't play these games like he's up for consideration, and you drag him out as long as you can, to cut back his training and keep him away from the ring as long as possible. Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer was fuming after reading a recent article on BoxingScene.com, where Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, took shots at Floyd Mayweather Jr. and advised Amir Khan, who is under contract with Golden Boy, to find a new promoter.

Arum, speaking with Gareth Davies of The Telegraph, was very vocal with his belief that Khan is being mistreated by Mayweather and Golden Boy - as it relates to Khan sitting on the shelf in order to find out who Mayweather will face on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Khan, along with Marcos Maidana, are the two frontrunners to face Mayweather. Arum feels very strongly that Mayweather is simply stringing Khan along and expects the unbeaten boxer to select Maidana as his May opponent.

Yes he's so marketable that He hasn't had a fight for almost a year....... He always has fought 2-3-4 times a year before now..... Phoney has been stringing him along, and even if Khan does get the fight, he hasn't done anything to deserve a big ticket fight anyway. So if it is on, it means that the fans are going to be mulcted. As they nearly always are in a Phoney fight. His last good fight was Castillo 1 which he lost.

Arum is actually getting at Schaefer,when he mentions "Hitler", because Schaefer, although a Swiss, is from the German canton and Arum probably knows a lot about him that we don't -and never will.. Considering the outrageous things that Schaefer has dumped on Arum in the past without real cause, I don't blame Arum. He does nothing for no reason, and we don't neccessarily have to be in on the reasons why or wherefore etc. I don't care anyway. They are running their businesses their own way.

Am I the only one that has noticed that every time things are semi-chill between GBP and TR, Arum comes outta nowhere with these unnecessary rants? Why is that? I'm of the belief that Arum has ducked the Floyd-Manny fight far more than either of the fighters. And I think he comes outta nowhere with these lil rants to make sure there's a beef between the two companies that can't be bridged. And he will continue to do so as long as he has this certain group of fans (ya'll know who I'm talking about) that are willing to by anything he puts out to continue the illusion that its the other side ducking the fight.
