I love arum and pac...you know this how...assuming like the typical braniac on this site. Well bro your assumption is wrong. Maidana may have two impressive wins does that change the fact he'll be walking into jabs and straight rights all night like guerrero..like ortiz..like Canelo. I'm pretty sure you are one of those "pick up every new phrase that comes out of floyds house" and are likely affluent at the term styles make fights. Yes Maidana deserves the fight more because of his recent resume but he's the worst and least challenging opponent of the two. So yeah i'm sure you would be happy with another 12 rounds of Canelo vs Floyd but i'm not..I want to see Floyd fight someone who can actually do some of the fundamentals in the ring like jabbing..feinting properly..even if he does have a suspect chin. As I said Khan should've fought Devon he didn't and he clearly let that situation pass on because he had a pretty good feeling this fight was made..and you come to that conclussion...because clearly he was said something along those lines.
I've read a lot of your post on here and I've yet to hear you say anything bad about Pac or Arum. Especially Pac that's a fact. Now back to the subject Maidana would put up a much better fight than Khan based that he has fought at welterweight, has a much better trainer and is coming off of one of his best performances to date.
Khan has not fought at welterweight so we don't know how that chin will hold up when he is facing bigger stronger guys. Khan gets hit easy as hell! Look at his fights.
Those fundamentals did not work well against Garcia, Diaz, or Peterson who after round three started to figure Khan out and made him pay. I am speaking facts not gibberish bull shyt. Khan needs to work his way up the ladder.
And you are a die hard Pac fan! I rock with all fighters, and when they were pushing this fight I said Floyd is on some bull shyt for this wack ass fight.
You would never say such a thing about Pac for fighting Rios who was also moving up in weight. But if Floyd fights Khan he deserves criticism from the public. So that's why I hope he chooses a more credible opponent, who will give it his all and make it entertaining.
If Mayweather knocks out Khan who is moving up in weight! So did Garcia, and Prescott, and Diaz dropped him his very last fight. If Arum would have said "Khan should fight other fighters, and stop begging" you would have agreed with Arum, or kept silent.
But I have read your post, you even speak highly of Michael Konz! But you disappeared like casper when Pac's Lawyer came out and blamed Konz for his tax's issues.
So you siding with Arum on this doesn't surprise me at all.Comment

Well I feel if Khan thinks he's the star as much as he says he is then he should prove it and quit begging and not tolerate the treatment if he's got a problem. Besides that though, I think ShowTime probably is also indecisive behind the scenes on who to pick and that's part of what's going on. I doubt they're writing those big checks and have absolutely no say so in this decision. I dont think it's just a Floyd decision.
Dude I agree there but if they had no intentions on facing him off with Floyd they should've just said you ain't got a shot in hell. Floyd said he was ready to announce his opponent in the first week of January and Maidana wasn't even mentioned...then all of the sudden...maidana is in the mix. So what opponent was he planning to announce in January other than Khan?Comment

No fight has been announced yet because everyone knows that both fights are crap and they're (showtime) trying to figure out how to sell a khan or maidana fight without taking a hit like they did with guerrero. At this stage I wouldn't be surprised if the may 5th card gets canceled. It's damn near March. They still need to have a press tour, film showtime's equivalent of 24/7 (I forget the name for showtime), not to mention train. If both khan and maidana were smart they'd play hardball right now as Floyds opponent options are severely limited.Comment

I agree with Arum. Mayweather has been dragging the fight and makes the moves he wants because he has the power to do it. Khan has been running his mouth daily with the same recycled reasons of how he can pull an upset.
Mayweather should respect his fans and let everyone know at least who he will be facing.Comment

I agree with Arum, it was wrong of Golden Boy to lead Khan on publicly like that. They can't control what Mayweather does but as a promoter you have to protect your guy.
With that said no one forced Khan to back out of the Alexander fight. He tried to take the easy way out and it bit him in the ass. He beats Alexander then the fight is legit at that point.Comment

By going to a poll he most certainly is...look i'm a Floyd fan but let's be real if this was being done to Floyd you'd be flipping out. I can like the boxer and disapprove of his tactics. You've been saying for 6 weeks you plan on announcing your opponent..not only is this holding up Khan but it's holding up Broner, and it's holding up Maidana. So it's not just an instance of Floyd inconveniencing one person he's doing so to quite a few people. To say that a particular boxer is the front runner and the best you can do is come up with a secondary name and say you are letting the public pick you opponent is also bullshh bro. Picking you opponent shouldv'e been a list of the top ten in the division and let the masses pick a name. It is what it is..everyone will see it differently. As a fan of the champion in this equation I don't like how he's handling it. Just pick an opponent and let it be.Comment
