Comments Thread For: Burns' Trainer: Crawford Won't Be in His Comfort Zone

Trainer Billy Nelson is tipping his fighter, WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns (36-2-1, 11KOs), to used his experience and superior skill to overcome Terence Crawford (22-0, 16KOs) on March 1 at the Scottish Exhibition Centre in Glasgow, Scotland. Nelson expects both of the fighters to have a very tough time in the contest, but views Crawford's lack of experience against world class opposition as being the determining factor against the undefeated challenger.

Bit worried that they were sparring theophane. He is nothing like Crawford.

I still don't understand the hype surrounding Crawford. Burns is a bum and he should beat him. But Crawford is nothing special from what I've seen.

I hope Burns puts on the performance of his life. Not a fan of Crawford, he'll probably beat burns though

Its evident that you have not watched much of Crawford to dismiss him. Dude is the goods - he has very good defense, good rythm, head movement, and he can punch almost forgot good punch placement - do your homework, burns was good but he has hit his ceiling, watch the crawford vs prescott fight and tell me what Burns can do with crawford .. Burns should have stepped his competition up a couple of years ago - too many domestic level fights - crawford is a good fighter.
