What makes people think Gamboa is another Rigondeaux? Gamboa gets repeatedly dropped, leaves himself open to counters, and showed great difficultly breaking through a high guard in his last fight. Stylistically, this fight favors Garcia due to Gamboa's recklessness and Garcia's counterpunching skills. The guys I really want to see Garcia in with are The Takashis because beating them would establish Garcia as the lineal 130 pound champion, rather than just a beltholder. Maybe it's just me, but I like to see guys stay in one division and become lineal champion. I don't like weight class hopping like what Broner tried.

Aight... Gamboa is an overrated piece of crap Mikey is a real deal, got it.

So let's see that ****, what's the problem?

I wanna see great champion Mikey Garcia schooling lowskilled overrated stiff Gamboa.

Just stop talking and make the phuking fight. Let's test it.

I was hearing the same crap about Rigo for years until he schooled that overhyped clown "fighter of the year" Donaire.

I don't understand why people would blame Team Garcia if the fight doesn't happen.

If Gamboa wants the fight so bad he could take $100,000 like Juan Carlos Burgos did, beat Garcia's a$$, and get back to getting paid good money after that fight.

If Gamboa accepts short money and Garcia doesn't want the fight, then I would consider that a major DUCK.

The only way I see the fight happening is if Gamboa does take short money. Garcia made $725,000 for his fight against Burgos. Should Garcia take a pay cut just because Gamboa is begging for an opportunity that he really doesn't even deserve?

Rigondeaux hadn't been dropped about eight times heading into his fight with Donaire, who is pretty underrated these days. Gamboa's not overrated, but he has serious flaws Garcia can exploit. Believe me, I would love to see Garcia vs Gamboa. I just think people are underrating Garcia a bit.

What's he gonna do??? Last I saw him, he was getting put on his ass by a bum and stinkin' the junt out. Outside of that, all I see him doing is following 50 around like a puppy and laughing at Fif's corny ass jokes, 95% of which I'm sure he can't even understand.

                All i have to say...

Modufakz should make it like it's being in the UFC... olympic system competition with one belt and one division champion. No fake countless belts no ducking pusy fake champions.

I'd like to see for example how many white or asain champions it's going to be in that case.

Boxing nowadays it's like reality show... must be for all.

There has to be white champion to draw white casual dumbazz fans there has to be asian champion to draw dumbest boxing casual asian fans.

That's the **** what Angel Garcia was recently talking about.

And i totally agree with him on that ****.

To many overrated overhyped lowskilled ducking fake champions with lowest level of the opposition behind them being around today.

And don''t call me a racist. Am just oldschool being who used to appreciate boxing at its best.

Just stating the facts like it.

If gamboa prices himself out, theres not very many significant fights at 130 for mikey within top rank...best move would be to move up to lightweight and challenge the winner of. The miguel vasquez vs shakifov fight, then unify down the road with the burns vs crawford winner.....at least he gets to try for a third title in a third weight class...!so there is something positive to come out of this,if gamboa wont fight him!
