Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury: I've Got Weight To Lose, I Need To Improve

Tyson Fury says there is no time for him to rest if he wants to fulfil his dream of becoming a world champion.

The 25-year-old won a fourth round stoppage over Joey Abell at the Copper Box to remain on course for a rematch with Dereck Chisora after the Finchley fighter won a unanimous points victory of Kevin Johnson.

The winner of that fight will be recognised by the WBO as the mandatory challenger to face Wladimir Klitschko.

But Fury, who got caught by a couple of left-handers from his southpaw opponent in the opening two rounds of their bout on Saturday, acknowledged he must raise his game in the coming months.

Don't know why people were so critical of his outing vs Abell.

I thought he looked pretty good - certainly better than he did against Cunningham. A lot better with the jab etc.

You could see he was trying to have fun in there, and in my opinion, he carried the whole card alongside his cousin.

Those two fights were the only ones worth watching on replay.

He's slowly making a fan out of me.
