You talk as if Belts matter to Floyd, if belts mattered Floyd would have fought Porter, or Pualie a few fights ago. Sorry Floyd by his own admission has said belts mean nothing to him.

Belts mean something to the mass public. Fighters that have one have more credibility in their eyes.

Being on a Floyd undercard brings a lot of exposure. The best thing for increasing Amir Khan's notoriety among the casuals is to have them tune in to the Mayweather-Maidana ppv and see him beating someone for a world title.

from what i have seen Khan always fairs well against smaller guys

soon as he faces a boxer his own height see Diaz, Prescott, Lemont, Garcia, it becomes a dog fight

The height advantage against smaller men allows him to keep his distance and pop that jab, Maidana, Zab are examples.

I always favour Khan against much smaller men

While your right(in a way),I think it's the style and the fact that Porter is a real WW..He makes for ugly fights..A few reasons I'd pick Bradley to beat Khan,are some of the same reasons I can see Porter giving Khan a hard time..

Porter is not as good as Bradley,but he does have a way of fighting that would give Khan a lot of trouble..Very good head and body movement,a nice inside game..Most important in this fight,his foot speed..I can see Khan winning this fight..I doubt it will be easy tho..
