Donaire lacks the discipline to stay at the elite level. He talks about how big he is like he's a junior welterweight or something and then gets out boxed and hurt on several occasions against Vic who never even fought at 126 before.

Donaire relied on his power and size in the lower weights he fought at. Now he no longer has the edge in either of those departments at 126 or above. I don't think Nonito will have to much success in his new round weight class.

vetyeka is a tough fighter...if donaire isn't 100% then he could lose this ..unless he gets lucky and lands a huge punch like he did against vic.

He's not even mentally shot, he never was mentally on point to begin with. How he handles himself in the face of adversity and in losing shows that he has absolutely no character and is not realistic with himself. You can't be in such horrible denial over something so plainly clear to everyone else and NOT be a numbskull. The boy could fight but has the mentality of a child. If he aint mature enough by NOW in his life as a grown man, he will likely never be.

Actually I would say fighting a smaller Montiel ruined him. It's the KO that brought him into the spotlight and he's been trying so hard to replicate it ever since.
