It was the best experience of Mayweather fights that I've been to; unfortunately I did and it was a horrible scene all together.

Where are the punches which win Maidana the first 6 rounds? He's ineffective on the ropes, he isn't landing as much as some people seem to think.
Ill look at this later maybe... some of us dont have as much free time as you.

In the meantime.. marinate on this post I dropped in another thread.

Floyd shifted the paradigm of boxing a while ago and Chno just jarred everyone back to ****ing reality. Anyone with a brain that is. You're asking me to respect the experts and pundits of a boxing system Floyd is reigning king of? Thats like asking the king's court who wears this crown better, your king... or this new guy?

Floyd shifted the paradigm of boxing from one of orchestrated violence to a high minded affair.. civilized almost. Where we are supposed to sit back and sigh in awe at his technical brilliance in a setting about as high stakes as a sparring match. Somewhere along the line, Floyd, and a majority of the boxing world, forgot a Floyd fight should still be a ****ing fight.

I am all for admiring skill, but it has to be something behind it or it becomes just parlor tricks for the blind masses. Its like if you have a rapper that can spit multis, complicated metaphors, and detailed stories, but then a true gangster rapper comes along and flames the cerebral rapper with less fancy words but more hurtful intent.. backed by their street cred.. people are gonna be like.. I aint feeling that guys **** no more he a backpack rapper.

well floyd is a backpack fighter. Wasnt always, but his lavish lifestyle has spoiled him and morphed him into a backpack fighter. Chino Maidana reminded those who aint attached to May's scrote, or too immersed in the Floyd paradigm to get clean air, of that very truth.

at the end its a fight...and Floyd got outfought. End of ****ing discussion.

Impressive wording. Good use of grammar and a varied vocabulary. So it is with great sadness that I have to admit that's about all there is to this comment.

Why? because boxing is a sweet science. It's hit and not get hit. Not bum rush your opponent while swinging your arms around like clubs. This isn't the Flintstones.

Boxing is all about hitting and not being hit, nobody does hit and not get hit better than Floyd Mayweather Jr. whether you want to accept it or not. And therefore there isn't a better boxer on the planet than Floyd. Like it or not.

Boxing isn't about two men trading punches lol we have bar fights and brawls for those...The likes of Floyd Mayweather, Guillermo Rigo, Erislandy Lara, Andre Ward bring out the skill in boxing. And showcase what the sport was all about from the very beginning. Boxing has always been about a showcase of skill. This martial art was founded on who can fight with skill and defend themselves with skill.

If you want to see a rough and rugged affair, watch MMA.

Nobody better (debatable, Rigo is still active) current and on paper, that wasn't the case Saturday night and that's all that matters so stop talking nonsense, or its clear you are just trolling or didn't watch the fight, I am a huge floyd fan so you know your being absurd if I have to take a stance against him.

Floyd won 8-4 though. At worst. 7 - 5 Floyd. I don't get your comment. Did Maidana put up a valiant effort? yes he did.

Did Maidana make the fight more entertaining than it would have been? yes.

Does Maidana deserve major credit for fighting the #1 in the sport and putting on a good show? yes he does.

Did Maidana win? no he didn't.

Was it close? not as close as people think, the video evidence is there if you dispute this. Just watch the fight again and slow it down and come back and tell me who won. If you know how to score fights, it's clear Floyd wins 7-5 or 8-4.

So I don't see your point.

Maidana lost it's simple as that either they have a rematch which I don't think is needed.
