mayweather landed more power punches yet the same tards will say pac-jmm 3 was a robbery.

You know fights are scored round by round. If Marcos lands 100 power punches one round then 0 the next 5. It kind of cancels out. Stop crying keep it objective

Serious question, What fight were the majority of you critics watching? Marcos Maidana is a tough fighter. He definitely showed a lot of aggression and grit while displaying his strength by forcing Floyd to the ropes. The thing is, The MAJORITY of his overhand looping shots didn't hit their mark/missed. He fought way too sloppy. I think he could've pulled it off if he'd straighten his punches and not smothered his work in there. This was the sloppiest I've seen Maidana fight IMO. Floyd won this fight but not by a landslide. What has happened to this forum guys?

I thought Maidana won 7-5 but it was a close fight. Maidana landed so many right hooks when he had Floyd on the ropes he could have really stopped Floyd, but apparently Floyd's chin is made of granite.

boxing is so fking corrupt nowdays no way Floyd won that fight , its about scoring punches maidana was landing many short punches on the ropes that should count as scoring points , Floyd basically threw slapping punches and threw up elbows on the inside and he missed so many punches , more than I ever seen before from him , maidana was the agresser throughout the fight , and what the hells with the ref ? he separated the fighters everytime maidana had Floyd against the ropes after a short period is infighting illegal now ?

A lot of those punches weren't clean to the head. I think his most effective stuff was to the body.

Floyd clearly won this, score card should have been 8-4 the closest! Maidana had an amazing early fight, won the first couple of rounds however as usual floyd adjusted and took charge. I don't care if maidana 'roughed' up floyd more or had more workrate.
Floyd landed crisp clean punches at will with double the percentage.
Was a good fight, floyds toughest in a while
