[QUOTE=MGMGRAND;14496547]Then why is Ellerbe saying no to the red ones also?
You know damn wel the commission would have approved them had Ellerbe not said anything. Commission was trying to be Floyd friendly, yet fair to Maidana, hence the approval of he red gloves. The red gloves are the same ****ing gloves, different color.[/QUOTE
Why does it matter. Are the blue gloves gonna give Maidana any special power?
If I was Maidana I'd donate those blue gloves to some MMA gyms because that's clearly what they are.
And about the red ones...Ellerbe is just being a ass-whole. Trying to get under Robert and Maidanas skin.
They are the same glove, different colors. Only difference. Straight from a everlast reps mouth.
You could see Floyd and the Grant rep feel the red ones, and they felt no difference, which is why Ellerbe wont approve them, and Floyd said he has to wear grants.Comment

OK, OK, I get this a all hype-- But Floyd and his camp seem to be playing insider pool, and Floyd is looking like an insecure diva with the glove and girlfriend stuff. The nostalgic looking back is also odd. If this is marketing to get viewers, OK, but it isn't making Floyd look good.Comment

Whole glove thing is nothing. @LEllerbe just told me, "There was a dispute with the gloves. It will be worked out." Sleep well everyone.Comment

Certainly strange. Floyd actually wanted to use 8oz instead of the mandated 10oz against Cotto, and Cotto hits pretty hard.Comment

The blue ones look exactly like the red ones. ONly difference was the packaging during shipment. Blue ones werent air sealed.

Not that I think Floyd is justified.Comment
