Its a fair point, i became a fan of Floyd in 1998 when was a very exciting fighter, he isn't anymore though it has to be said. And he is acting like a ***** lately but i do admire his talent.

I despise everything about him & everyone around him, but I do have respect for his defensive talent.

Are we really supposed to believe that Everlast would risk their entire business by specially manufacturing an illegal glove, for a 10-1 outsider, in a big PPV fight in the US? There is literally no chance of that happening. This whole thing just makes Floyd look like a bitch.

"No fight," stated Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe, who moments ago just left a meeting with members of Team Maidana and representatives from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Evidently, a controversy over the gloves that WBA welterweight champion Marcos Maidana is wanting to use has placed Saturday's fight in jeopardy.

When both teams arrived to select their gloves, Team Mayweather was not pleased with the lack of padding in the Everlast gloves that Team Maidana wanted to use. After hours of back-and-forth conversations between Ellerbe, Robert Garcia, and Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, the Commission ruled that the specific gloves that Maidana wanted to use were not acceptable, however, the actual brand and style would be allowed provided Maidana use a different pair.

That decision did not seem to sit too well with Ellerbe, who had no problem declaring that the fight would be off. Team Maidana abruptly packed their bags and left the room. It's unclear at this point what the status of the fight is.

So the coward is showing the Yellow streak, What next you can't wear that cup, mouth piece or use Arizza. Madaina still getting paid and exposing Mayweather as a coward and Floyd will lose big money since Mayweather promotion is promoting the fight and no PPV sales

Yeah but that's what makes it so ******ed. Is it not enough that he's fighting a 10-1 shot without having to engage in this nonsense? Maybe Maidana's calm indifference at the press conferences freaked him out.

Oh dude, totally.

But Floyd is a neurotic freakazoid (brilliant boxer though he is).

Rational folk are gonna' have a hard time understanding the set of logics that guide that fragile psyche.

I always get the sense that Floyd is one or two straws away from some sort of breakdown...
