I've been thinking same thing! That thought occurs when I read posts where people bring up Devon Alexander.

Yes, plus in a recent interview, Chino admits he was lazy with food and not training as well as he could for the Devon fight. Chalks it up as a learning experience..

          Its print..

he says he got careless with food and very sluggish.

also from what I see in the most recent article, Ariza was down in argentina with maidana and maidana still gets a month and a half of sparring so training and conditioning seems to be right on track.

And you people need to stop bringing up canelo and cotto as if maidana is a better fighter and has a chance against floyd, because he really hasnt.

Maidana has a better chance than both if he does the right things. There is a possibility maidana takes Floyd to the brink.

And what's the basis of your assessment, his win against broner? Broner didnt use his legs on that fight. Maidana is very dangerous if you trade punches with him. And you think floyd will do that? Floyd wins fight because he runs and maidana is no good against elusive fighters. We all know what will happen to this fight. It's not worth paying for it. FLOYDCOTT everyone.

Seeing as Maidana is clearly the bigger puncher out of the 2 of them, will put on a lot more effective pressure, and will throw punches from awkward angles that are hard to predict/defend I would then say yes he has a better shot then the two of them did.

Why do people say stuff like this and act like Floyd hasn't improved a similar rate or better? It doesn't matter about the opponent, by the fourth round, he will on the same script as all the other boxers before him.
