I think this will be more of exciting fight with Maidana making Floyd fight more at 37 I want to see how he reacts to that or will he be able to make Maidana fight at his pace.

Well Hopkins became a partner in Golden Boy immediately after so there's that.
The element of respect is key here. And Maidana is such a chilling character that it provides something different.

I just can't get over my gut feeling that it will be the same as every other Mayweather fight.

I would preferably want a war that ended in a KO. But what I don't really care much for is a 12-0 shut-out which I feel this might be.

Mosley and Cotto are not hyped up fighters like most of Floyd's recent resume .... but it's too bad that Floyd fights with Mosley(way past his prime and too old) and Cotto(too many wars that he lost) happened too late!

Yeah I know right. If only they had accepted the fights sooner with Cotto not being ready and all and Shanes toothache.

Oddly enough Floyd was past his prime as well in both fights.

              "Making Floyd fight"

              "Bring it to Floyd"

"Maidana will never stop coming forward"

              "Force him to fight"

All silly Floyd cliches. It is not a coincidence that he chops fighters work rates in half.

Maidana will be no different and post fight we will see countless threads asking the same ****** question.

              "Why didnt Maidana throw enough?"

Because he was tired of getting in punched in the eye , jaw and head over and over.

Maidana is going to be badly badly beat up.

This is usually the result for most of Floyd's previous fights for many different reasons, but if you don't think this fight may (may being the key word) be different then you don't pay attention to this sport at all. You know people are talking out of their ass when I have to constantly argue against Floyd, who is my favorite current fighter, because ignorant people keep applying the same cliche invincibility aurora to his game when in fact any unbiased, knowlegable fan knows he is the best but also beatable, and people who refuse to admit Maidana has improved drastically really have not been paying attention and their opinion is null.

No one (intelligent) is saying Floyd is washed up or will get stopped or out boxed, no one intelligent is counting out Maidana either.

Floyd fanboys are at times the worst, it's painful to be associated with other Floyd fans who either don't really know boxing, or just ride the annoying and arrogant undefeated record like a bandwagon sports fan in the USA would do, following the best team because they win for example.

Nothing wrong with hanging on to that small chance that MAYBE it might be competitive, but the truth is I don't see anything that Maidana brings that can trouble Floyd. He only as a punchers chance. This is coming from someone who isn't a fan of Floyd, people are just being real, you're rooting for Maidana cool, but don't try to make like we don't appreciate or respect Maidana. I know what he brings into the ring, thing is I also know what Floyd brings as well.

against maidana he's gonna try to play keepaway. I find chances of him knocking out iron chinned battle tested maidana extremely remote. If anyone getting knocked out in the fight it will be Floyd.
Iron chin but not iron body.
