I get there early Weds morning I want to be there for the last press conference and undercard work-outs.

This is a tougher fight for Floyd than most think. It will be similar to the Cotto fight, I would not be surprised if Maidana knocks Floyd down.

I tried to make it work, but I am running low on vacation days so I could only swing taking a half day on Thursday and a full day on Friday. I imagine it is a blast being there for the workouts/press conference though.

Maidana hits harder than Canelo, better stamina, and is better at cutting the ring off. He has improved greatly and has a very awkward style, punches from weird angles. He also has a very good left hand which Cotto also has.

I've always got in late for the press conference but made it for the work-outs it's all worth it.

Some curious stuff for you: Chino trained in the city of Santa Fe in the "Willie Pep Gym", owned by his trainer down there, a friend of him who has always admired Pep.

Makes me wonder if they have been stressing movement and footwork while he was in Argentina.. lol

Devon and Floyd are different stylistically and Maidana is much improved since that fight, people need to stop bringing up Maidanas losses to Devon/Khan like they mean something other than 2 L on his record, because they really don't.
