Comments Thread For: Adrian Hernandez, Yaegashi, Chocolatito Triple on 4/6

A major card is taking place on April 6 in Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. Nicaragua's two division world champion Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez will be in action in a ten round bout against an opponent to be determined. The regional champion of the OPBF, Naoya "Monster" Inoue ( 5-0, 4KOs , 20 years of age and Ohashi Boxing Gym of Yokohama), will challenge WBC junior flyweight king Adrian "Confessor " Hernandez (29-2-1, 18KOs, 28 years old).

In another featured bout for the world crown over twelve rounds, WBC flyweight king Akira Yaegashi (19-3, 9KOs, 30 years old) will risk his crown for the third time against Mexican challenger, WBC #8 ranked Odilon Zaleta (15-3, 8KOs from Chihuahua, Mexico).

Hernandez v Inoue looks like a great match but how is Yaegashi v Zaleta a "title" fight? Zaleta has lost two of his last three and lasted less than two rounds against Conception. Yaegashi taking a cupcake but the next fight should be Chocolatito Gonzalez

Yaegashi Gonzalez would be great if they made it next. Especially if they could throw Ioka vs Inoue on the same card. Ioka wants to unify later this year and if Inoue beats Hernadez that would be a crazy fight in Japan.

But I'd personally like to see Estrada Gonzalez II get made and Yaegashi Ioka II later this year. Then a mega fight at 112 for all the belts. Oh yeah except the IBF.
