How exactly? Golden Boy and Bernard Hopkins tried to get a fight with Stevenson on HBO which would have been a massive fight in Canada and big ratings on HBO and HBO rejected it. Thats a far bigger fight that GGG vs Lara and it got shot down instantly.

Umm remember the Lewis vs Tyson fight? It can happen bro, just like the mayweather vs PAC can happen! Ducking and greed is what's stoping fights like this from happening!

lara can move up to 160 and have a few fights, say quillin for example, thats a fight that could actually be made with no network issues ... so why he didn't just call him out i'm not sure(unless this is just a name dropping exercise). But anyway if he does well at 160 and people actually know who he is, perhaps he will actually get a few of them interested in a ggg fight. But until then he has basically no bargaining power.

Must admit at times it's hard to like certain fighters when you see all the irrational crap their fans spew on this forum. The term duck gets thrown around here way to often, like it or not boxing is a business and the (often) fickle fans don't aways get what they want......
