Lara would beat Canelo, but not because he is "on another level". It's a style issue, Canelo is weak against movers. There are certain styles Canelo can handle better than Lara. I will be surprised if he has as much trouble with Angulo as Lara did for example.

I agree with Lara giving Canelo problems but it seems to me El Perro has the right style for Canelo unless.......El Perro can impose his will and make Canelo aware of his power early, things might change quickly!

molina was only a close fight because molina constantly smothered and grabbed and even then he landed nothing clean. canelo doesn't fight like molina at all. vanes was an easy win, and angulo is one of the best pressure fighters in boxing with big power, canelo doesn't fight like angulo at all. canelo actually fights the closest to guys like vanes and trout who lara beat easily. they all like to fight at at their own pace and when things don't go their way they can't do anything to change it.

this fight could go either way. Canelo has never faced anyone as big as angulo who is a real fighter. This fight will answer questions about Canelo. Its a legit test. Now we see what he is made of. I can see him outboxing Angulo or getting overwhelmed with Angulo's relentless pressure

well i was basing my opinion on actually watching the fight and i saw lara win easily. of course canelo could always beat lara by gift decision like williams but its hard to factor gift decisions into breaking down fights.
