Arum gets what he wants... Pac and Bradley are his hoes and he is their pimp, I remember Bradley fans crying about how Bradley wanted VADA against JMM and that he was getting NSAC because JMM didn't want to do VADA (Which to their narrow minds meant JMM was juicing)... I told them at that time that JMM was quoted on numerous occasion that he is willing to do VADA testing and that it was Arum that had the final say regarding that, Joel Diaz was even quote saying that both fighters were willing to do VADA but Arum isn't want them to.... So now we have Arum doing the samething here again, even doe both fighters have used VADA in the past and in Pac case in his last fight (If true), so why wasn't VADA involve now?

I totally hear your point of view on this. Especially when you're a fighter trying to make it to an elite level so you can make lots of cash. Boxing is totally a sport where you can get away with a lot. Many of these strength and conditioning coaches make matters worse too, because in order to keep their jobs, they want to help the fighter achieve success as well. And what's the best way to do that? Drugs.
Exactly man, success means your life can change for the better and dramatically for most. Not only be recognized publicly for your talent (who doesn't like recognition?) BUT also get rich in the process. For people who HAD NOTHING to suddenly seeing the possibility of having pretty much EVERYTHING or a way different lifestyle than they were used to, it is hard not to be tempted to take drugs (DRUGS is a harsh word but see it more of like "supplements/enhancers") that give you the highest chance possible of obtaining success... specially when the word is most are taking them.

Here is situation we can relate with for you Radio or Sugar... Imagine you guys are fighters and you just got back home from a day of training. In today's society almost everybody has twitter or access to the internet and actively use it (or people around you do)... we are up to date with everything minutes after it happens. Imagine sitting down to check the news on your fight and what's the buzz (who wouldn't be curious... all you're thinking of is your opponent and the fight), checking what is up with your opponent and seeing a photo of him looking unusually jacked and with a guy who confessed to having undetectable steroids in the past by his side. Seriously... what would you guys do? I would call my trainer ASAP and try to get information on this and ask him if he knows someone working on that field to see if you can get educated on the subject. I would be concerned to say the least.

Now also imagine guys who are NATURALLY SKILLED/TALENTED... and their abilities on PEDS. There is so much to this, psychologically as well that we could sit here for hours discussing this. It is such a complex situation.

I don't trust a state commission over either VADA or USADA, but it's better than no testing, I think.

Yahoo article says it was the commission who didn't want to do VADA.

Arum said the fighters had initially agreed to use the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association, but that the commission overruled them.

"I called [Aguilar] and said, 'Look, we'll go to VADA and have them do it,' and he said no," Arum said. "He said, 'VADA is an outside agency. Let me talk to the commission and we'll do it like we did for the Bradley-[Juan Manuel] Marquez fight [last year].' I told him that was OK as long as it was the full WADA testing, with that stuff, the [CIR and IRMS] tests, so we can make sure there is no artificial testosterone.
Francisco Aguilar, the chairman of the Nevada Athletic Commission, announced Friday the commission will make boxers Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley undergo a rigorous drug testing regiment prior to the April 12 bout in Las Vegas for the WBO welterweight … Continue reading →

but yeah, NEVER thought of it like u put it). how bizarre would it be, as time goes on obviously advancment in medicine and drugs would get more and more powerful. like say 20 years from now, it would be deadly to imagine two literal superhumans in the ring duking it out. unless there were some kind of thing one day that helped you absorb damage. but it still fck u up all kinds because it's just unnatural for the human body to take that kind of hypothetical huge punishment. all the people pushing for boxing to get banned would finally have a say, as then surely it would be just like human ****fighting, with these dudes fighting to the death.
Yes, some have gotten killed in the ring before. But you haven't seen in happening lately right? If everyone were using though, murder would begin happening and more frequently.

Let's say both Pacquaio and Marquez were both on drugs their last match (in my opinion this was the case). One guy gets his nose broken from a blow and is bleeding badly from that ONE single punch that landed, while the other takes one single big blow that knocks him down, and then a few rounds later catches a near fatal single blow that practically puts him into a coma. That **** is not cool!

If drugs get to the point where running tests is useless, they'd have to just ban boxing outright. Any contact sport where you physically attack the other (NFL, Boxing, MMA), would have to be banned. Sadly, such a scenario is actually possible the way the world is going.

Arum is bluffing. NSAC wouldn't reject them using VADA and/or USADA.
