Comments Thread For: BoxingScene.com's Television Picks of The Week

While high profile boxing is still a couple of weeks away, the sport has multiple television dates this week and not a moment too soon. Some of us have had to resort to watching Winter Olympics.

Okay, some of us secretly like the Winter Olympics but never realize it until they’re on, opting instead to mock them in between events.

    Um…

Anyways, for fans that like to see what’s coming as much as they like to see what’s already on top, there is a heavy menu. And speaking of heavy, two of the more fun Heavyweight combatants in class are in action working towards a possible rematch and dreams of titles ahead.

Eagerly anticipating March and the few months to follow. A time period I always considered "the Boxing season".

At least we are fortunate to have ESPN2 and UniMas along with the occasional Fox1 and NBC to keep our tv fix in line.

Thanks for the Television Picks of the Week BPP.

I am looking forward to the Bradley-Pac rematch but this weekend's fights should provide a decent hold over until the bigger fights start to occur.

I'm pretty excited about tonight's FNFs main event. Don't know a lot about either guy. Algieri seems to be one of these guys that started boxing late. And has become a big local draw. Taylor has much more amateur experience and has fought better comp as a pro. So this is a pretty big step up. Taylor is ranked #5 in the IBF and Peterson just made a mandatory. So I'd assume the winner of this one will be in an eliminator in their next fight or two.
