In the Corner with Andrew Ward

The vid is highly interesting because of two things: 1) Ward's boxing style really is complex; 2) Ward is intelligent and well spoken -- therefore he is able to provide a live explanation of what he's actually doing in the ring.
What Andre can't explain is his natural talent -- but this is a truism.
(What I liked most? When Ward acts as if he's landing a punch and then say "boom"...)Comment

you dont know the meaning of ducking someone, what you just described isnt even possible. you cant duck someone who isnt in your weightclass.
every fighter (except prospects admittedly on their way up and learning on the job) has a responsibility to fight the best and not do what you eluded to, duck someone. however thats only within his own weightclass, you cant say a mddleweight is ducking a welterweight or vice versa. same thing applies to this situation.
ward has to fight the best 168lbers out there and he has. when he is good and ready he canmove up and tackle the next weightclass, or not. its his choice, every fighter has the right to choose their own weightclass and fight within its limits. thats not a duck.
funny thing is he actually does talk about fighting at 175. he says he wanted to move up but his trainer convinced him not to saying he should let his body grow into the division naturally, which is true.
you fail on so many levels.. actually i just figured out you were being sarcastic, my bad. i will post it regardless because i know some people will actually still agree with you lol.Comment

I guess his his life long dream of a money fight will come true since Froch is gone from the chavez jr race.
To bad Golovkin is cheaper and pulls in more ratings than himComment

I suspect that his promoter didn't do even that -- it was Ken Hershman and his Super Six... Dan Goossen had nothing to do with Ward's opponents in the Super Six, they all were tournament mandatories...
