BoxingScene has recently reported that Italian veteran Silvio Branco (63-11-3, 37 KOs) could have been next in line for WBC #1 rated cruiserweight Rakhim Chakhkiev (17-1, 13 KOs). 2008 Beijing heavyweight gold medalist, who is also rated #5 by the IBF, has recently struck a deal with Andrey Ryabinskiy’s “World of Boxing” promotional team and is penciled to fight next on March 15 in Moscow, Russia. The fight was proposed as the WBC Silver title match-up and probably the WBC 200lb eliminator for a right to take on reigning champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk. [Click Here To Read More]

Hes actually a prospect who didn't hold any major belt and actually took a major step up. If he was a champion like someone we know, then your logic would apply. But that isn't the case.

He has 3 times the amateur experience and almost twice as many pro fights. 10 title defenses and again I repeat only one against a career middleweight.
Won't fight Dirrell, won't fight Geale or Ward or Quillin or Lara. Network deals conveniently don't effect him fighting light middleweight journeymen seemingly.
When is he going to step up?
I don't say much at all these days tbh, its actually you GGG fans constantly acting all butthurt I don't worship the guy like you lot.
Just let it lie, I only want to see him fight a live body, that is all.
Its not like I am unfair, I have slated Brook and multiple others for this and they aren't 32 with those amateur credentials and a world title.Comment
