Khan beat Maidana over 3 years ago. That has nothing to do with who deserves to fight Mayweather today. Maidana has improved in the last three years and Khan is much worse than he was three years ago. Maidana would beat Khan if they fought a rematch. Khan was knocked out by 140 pounder Garcia not long ago and he looked like garbage in his last two fights with lousy fighters. Khan has never even fought at 147 pounds. Maidana has three great wins in a row at welterweight. Maidana knocked out two top 10 rated welterweight contenders and beat the hell out of highly regarded welterweight world champion Broner making Maidana a world welterweight champ. Khan is champion of nothing. When it comes to who deserves to challenge Mayweather for his world welterweight title Maidana is 10 miles in front of Khan. It's just no contest.
