    Andre Ward is the best SMW in the world

    So perhaps some of you, who are blindly unaware of commercial values, will understand why the best don't often fight the best.

    You tell me how a fight between Andre Ward and Carl Froch would ever be able to compete with a fight between Carl and George Groves?

    I'm pretty fed up of hearing some, sorry, many of you criticize boxers for taking the fights that they do. If you were Carl Froch you'd clearly take a rematch with GG over a rematch with AW. When there's a pot worth around £10m then you don't need to be Einstein to figure it out. But then i hear some of you flapping, typical ABC wont fight XYZ, he's ducking, he's afraid, he's a coward. Honestly, you're a JOKER ! These men are ALL hero's to me, they have more guts than almost all of you, and unless you've stepped into the ring yourself, you simply do not qualify to judge so dismissively.

    Andre Ward is the best SMW in the world, but Carl Froch is commercially the best SMW in the world, and money talks, it talks louder than belts, louder than undefeated records, louder than anything.

    If you fight to earn a living, you fight for money.

    As Frank Bruno so wonderfully put it when quoting Shabba Ranks;

    "knife and fork i fight fi dumplin."

    If you want to achieve honour as well and being able to comfortably enjoy it long after the gloves have come off, you must be a commercial champion as well as a talented one.

    Andre Ward - My advice to you is get nasty, get hungry, get in a fight where people jump off their feet, and then get groveling to the Cobra, because whilst you might be the better boxer, you're a lost puppy when it comes to making the corn.

    I agree with most of what you said except for the part where Ward should beg Froch for a fight. Ward holds a clear win over Froch and he is undefeated. The loss bothers Froch and money man or not Froch can't dictate terms to Ward and insist he fight Froch in the UK for the short end of the money. Froch needs the rematch more than Ward and Ward might get robbed in the UK. If I am Ward I would tell Froch I'll fight him in Vegas with an even purse split, take it or leave it.
